Massage Therapy Volunteer
Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care
Kansas City Hospice provides compassionate, kind, state-of-the-art care for individuals facing a wide range of end-stage illnesses. Kansas City Hospice needs massage therapists willing to volunteer their time by giving our patients massages either in patient homes, nursing homes, or at our Kansas City Hospice and/or NorthCare Hospice Houses.
Kansas City Hospice massage therapy volunteers provide gentle, supportive massage therapy for patients who may be frail, in pain, or elderly. Massage therapists must be licensed. Scheduling for volunteers is very flexible, and we work with your availability. You could do your volunteering during the day, in the evenings, or weekends. As a massage therapist, you may provide anywhere from one massage a month to several massages a week, whatever is convenient for you.

Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care is a nonprofit organization offering a range of services for people of all ages and at any stage of serious illness. We've been providing comfort and care to the seriously ill and their families in the greater Kansas City area since 1980.
By providing both hospice and palliative care, we are able to assist patients and their loved ones at any time following a serious diagnosis. Hospice is provided when the focus is primarily on comfort; palliative care is provided when it is too early for hospice care and the patient may be seeking treatment aimed at cure.
