During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of both COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
We are Kansas City’s hospice - local and nonprofit. We provide care for patients with advanced illnesses, and we need volunteers like you.
Most of our patients can’t leave the house, and we have a great need for cosmetologists who are willing to donate their time (perhaps an hour or two per month) to cut hair in the patient’s home.
We’ll provide you with some basic hospice training. Whenever possible, we match volunteers with patients in their geographical area.
Please help us provide a great service to a very grateful person.

Peace of mind, comfort, guidance and expert care are what Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care brings to people of all ages and at any stage of serious illness.
Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care is a nonprofit organization offering a range of services for people of all ages and at any stage of serious illness. We've been providing comfort and care to the seriously ill and their families in the greater Kansas City area since 1980.
By providing both hospice and palliative care, we are able to assist patients and their loved ones at any time following a serious diagnosis. Hospice is provided when the focus is primarily on comfort; palliative care is provided when it is too early for hospice care and the patient may be seeking treatment aimed at cure.
We'll work with your schedule.
