Would your dog be a great therapy dog? We are looking for dog-human teams to visit hospice patients and give them the gift of unconditional love. Basic obedience, veterinary screening, spay/nueter, and interview required. Human must also complete volunteer training and orientation. No medical experience necessary. This is a very rewarding opportunity as you see the joy on so many faces when you bring a dog into the patient homes, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities where many of our patients live! Orientation includes background check, TB test and drug screening.
