The intake worker position in the food pantry requires good people skills and detail oriented. This position involves interviewing the clients and completing forms to ascertain their needs and eligibility. If you have a good heart and want to help, this may be the job for you. Social Work experience is helpful, but not required.
The food pantry is every Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9-11:45. Volunteers are asked to come 30 minutes before to get set up.
Orientation is required and is held every Tuesday at 1:00pm at 3916 15th St. It usually takes about an hour.
