Do you feel like your four legged loved one would benefit from sharing their time and snuggles with others? Do you want to find a way to give back to your community while also spending time with your doggie? We are looking for dog-human teams to visit hospice patients and give them the gift of unconditional love. Obedience training certificate, general veterinary screening, and spay/neuter and interview required. Human must also provide a background screening, drug test, 2 tb tests, and complete volunteer training and orientation. No medical experience necessary. This is a very rewarding opportunity as you see the joy on so many faces when you bring a dog into the nursing homes and assisted living facilities where many of our patients live!
