show dogs and cats for adoption
complete adotions
provide hand outs to public if requested
collect donations

AWSNJ mission is to assist the public by bridging the gap between animal control, animal shelters, and the public.
Description
Animal Welfare Society is headed up by Director Jessie Leighton. Jessie has over 15 years of experience working in the animal welfare world. Her experiences include work in high volume contract animal control facilities as well as limited intake shelters. AWSNJ mission is to assist the public by bridging the gap between animal control, animal shelters, and the public. Our Rescue and adoption prog ram " Community Pet Care" oversees all adoptions, While our outreach department assists with pet pantry items as well as fence building and medical assistance, and last but not least "Jamies Legacy" oversees community feral cats and our canine hospice program. We are so proud of our programs and the dedicated volunteers who care for them and make them so successful
