PLACEMENT PURPOSE
The American Red Cross commitment to health and safety extends to our chapter offices, the physical location where volunteers and staff carry out our work of preventing and alleviating human suffering in the face of emergencies. Volunteer manpower provides that upkeep by assisting with basic maintenance projects at local Red Cross office(s), as well as support event set-up and clean-up.
OPEN TIME DAYS
- Work 4 hours per day for about 10 15 hours per week
- Oncall volunteer hours preferred at times
On-the-Job training on building layout, access procedures, vehicle detailing and equipment operation provided.
