Empowering the less fortunate and underserved.

Beginning January 24, 2022, volunteers will be needed to work as Music For Life Foundation staff --- to inventory and sort music instruments and equipment from instrument donation drive activities.

With authorization from Ala Wai Elementary School principal, Music For Life Foundation has establish a " music instruction focused" classroom their school campus; currently housing all current music instrument donations. Designated The Jake Shimabukuro Clubhouse for Music Learning and Appreciation (aka "Jake's Clubhouse"), the classroom is filled with nearly 50 `ukuleles and a wide and varies array of musical instruments and sound equipment.

Jake 's Clubhouse is part of a project initiative by Music For Life Foundation to raise awareness in the need for and importance of music education. With supporting music programs and assisting with keeping these programs "alive" in school classrooms, Music For Life Foundation's mission is to empower people through music.

Music For Life Foundation projects and programs are made possible through musical instrument donations and monetary contributions. Music For Life Foundation also seeks support from volunteers who would be interested in conducting `ukulele workshops or other musical instrument introductory or beginner tutoring at Jake's Clubhouse.

About Music for Life Foundation

Founded in October 2010, Music For Life Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that promotes music and the arts. Its president and founder, Leo Daquioag, believes that music, in particular, is a "world language" and at a level where we can all communicate. Moreover, the organization promotes the idea that musical instruments are wonderful tools in unifying people of different age groups, cultures, races, and religions and can, additionally, serve as a means to provide emotional comfort and care.
