Pick up Meals At the Hospital between 11 & 1130 am and deliver to the ederly and disabled.The length of the route will be based on number of the recipients, but most drivers are finished within 45 minutes. You will need to return the carriers and tray to the hospital when done. We will have you drive at least once with an experienced driver before we set you up on a route to be sure this is the right fit for you.

TO PROMOTE GOOD HEALTH AMONG THE ELDERLY, CONVALESCING AND/OR DISABLED MEMBERS OF THE GREATER WAUSAU AREA BY DELIVERING HOT, NUTRITIOUS MEALS WITH THE HELP OF VOLUNTEERS.
Description
Mobile Meals provides a vital service to those in need in the Wausau area. With the help of dedicated volunteers; in 2016 we were able to deliver over 18,000 hot and nutritious meals to those who are disabled, ill or elderly. These meals go a long ways towards our senior population remaining in their homes longer and living independently.
Along with a good meal, the volunteers provide a personal contact for those who may be homebound or who have no family nearby. They also share a smile to brighten the day and to many of our recipients, this interaction is as important as the meal.
