This is an opportunity for those who cannot commit to a regular schedule of volunteering and would like to volunteer in their own time. Tire sweep collector will collect discarded or dumped tires from anywhere in the zip codes 48208, 48209, 48210, 48216, and 48217. This is ideal if you live or work in Southwest Detroit and would like to contribute without taking much time out of your schedule. Simply connect with us on here, and then let us know which days you plan to drop off tires at least 24 hours in advance. We will award any type of community service hours.

Southwest Detroit Environmental Vision is a coalition of residents, community organizations, agencies, business and industry working together to improve the environment and strengthen the economy of Southwest Detroit.
Description
We accomplish our mission by:
- Collecting and disseminating information on environmental issues affecting Southwest Detroit;
- Developing an environmentally informed and active citizenry;
- Serving as a catalyst and resource for initiatives to improve the environment and stimulate environmentally sound economic development;
- Identifying and expanding common ground for addressing environmental issues through reasoned dialog.
