In addition to classroom based education on Mondays and Wednesdays, LSI encourages our senior refugee clients to attend the Central Senior Center on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. They gather for crafts, games, informal learning times, and also utilize the wonderful spaces in the building (billiards, a computer lab, craft room, and exercise room). Volunteers are needed to lead and support these activities to foster engagement and social bonds between clients. Our ESL Activities Specialist will provide support which will enable you to comfortably interact with our clients.
Time Commitment:
Hours are flexible. Anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays.
