Importance of Position: Promote Pea Pod's programs and services to the public through recording, editing and producing short videos to share on social media or our website.

Qualifications:

• Experience in use of video recording devices
• Proficient in video editting
• At ease with all ages and types of people, including a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds
• Willing and able to follow directions

Work environment: Pea Pod Nutrition and Lactation Offices (Atlanta and Decatur), exteriors and other locations as necessary

Responsible to: Volunteer Coordinator and Executive Director

Responsibilties:

• Record promotional and educational videos to help convey the public health message and mission of Pea Pod Nutrition and Lactation Support
• Edit event footage as necessary to present video features for broadcast
• Coordinate with staff to produce public service announcements or features
• Assemble materials such as graphics, photography, dialogue, raw camera footage, sound effects and other special effects into a finished product with quality, length and production acceptable for broadcasting

Training provided: Orientation to procedures

Time Commitment: Project based. Two or more hours per week, can do video production at home
