StarShine Principle #4 MUSIC IS THE FIRST LANGUAGE
We have grades K-12 and know that music heals the heart and mind. Our music teacher had to move to another state and we have not been able to afford to replace him. Our entire school is created around the theme of music and art so this is critical. We need a passionate, loving music teacher or teachers to take us through May of this year and perhaps stay with us for many years. It would be awesome if you also knew how to use dance to teach music, we especially have wanted to do a Flash Dance for years but no one has been able to figure one out. Our kids are totally awesome and fascinating! Music is integrated into all we do ... you will have approximately 100 students. Or if you want to teach a particular instrument, we could have fewer students assigned to you.

Description
StarShine creates model prototype K-12 charter schools in communities by bringing the community together to help grow the children into successful adults. Corporations, government leaders, parents, musicians, artists, and volunteers team with education experts to provide rich environments for the students to learn. The schools are frequently referred to as College Preparatory K-12 schools that prepare students for succcess in life.
