ORGANIZATION: PEER Services

April is Alcohol Awareness Month

On Thursday, April 6, 2017, from 4:30-7:30pm, volunteers from the Evanston Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition and the Evanston Police and Community Partnership will collaborate on an Illinois Liquor Control Commission effort called "Your Actions Matter" to help keep alcohol out of the hands for those under 21 years of age. While we know that a majority of our community's liquor establishments are selling and serving responsibly, we are also aware that friends and family members are the primary sources where youth obtain alcohol.

Volunteer and Church groups are welcome. Minors must have a signed persmisson slip.
