Our residents love animals! If you have a gentle pet who loves people, we need you! No certification required. Please contact for more information about our Volunteer Pet Visits Program.

Available days/times to volunteer: Monday-Sunday from 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m.

All volunteers are required to meet with the Director of Activities, and complete an application with a background check. This is done at no cost to the volunteer.

All individuals must agree to abide by all Avantara volunteer policies and procedures. Volunteers accepted into the pet visits program must sign a release of liability. Individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult (who has filled out an application w. background check) at all times when on community grounds, no exceptions.
