The Restoring Family Links division of the American Red Cross works to reunite families who have been displaced due to international conflict, disaster, or migration. Because we are a comparatively small division, it is important for us to maintain a strong, consistent, and on-message social media presence.

Armed conflict, international disasters and migration leave millions of people around the globe in urgent need of humanitarian assistance every year. As a truly worldwide network, the volunteers of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent are able to help families reconnect.
Description
The American Red Cross helps reconnect loved ones separated internationally when:
- Families have been separated internationally as a result of conflict, disaster, migration or other humanitarian emergency.
- Families have tried normal channels of communication to reconnect.
- The family member making the inquiry is able to provide essential information on the sought person.
- The family member making the inquiry is a relative, who had been in direct contact with the sought person before the crisis occurred.
