In-person Conference Representative

Arizona Association for Environmental Education seeks someone to represent our organization at in-person conference events in the state of Arizona.
We have developed a series of marketing materials to advertise our association and its benefits, as well as our EE Certification Certification program and our Environmental Literacy Strategy.
Conferences that could be attended include STEM conference, Education Conferences, or anything else related to Environmental Education in Arizona.
The Association will pay for the tabling fee and registration, and there may be an opportunity for a small honoraria or travel reimbursement depending upon where the voluneer is traveling from and to the conference.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Serve as lead point of contact for representation of the Association at statewide events
- Collate content and decide what information to bring, relevant to the opportunity
- Maintain the box with marketing materials, including any banners, tablecloths, 1/3 cut flyers, etc.
Qualifications:
- Ability to promote and describe the organization and its flagship certification program
- Familiarity with the organizational strategic plan

Research shows that meaningful learning occurs through informal contexts- within a family/ group exploring a museum, going camping, or building something together. AAEE provides parents with contact information for natural history museums, informal education programs for children and families, and opportunities to learn more about the environment in Arizona.
