If you have a passion for teaching kids and would love to teach in a diffrent environment other than a classroom we have the perfect opportunity for you!!

Junior Chefs of America is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that teaches basic education classes through culinary exploration.

All classes are taught in monthly increments. Each month kids ages 2-17 are taught Math, Science, English, And History Through Culinary Recipes.

Each class is a 2-Week session that is held Saturday's and Wednesday. Toddlers ages 2-3 yrs old are taught on Wednesday's, while children ages 4-17 yrs old meet each Saturday.

We are in need of Volunteer Teachers And Tutors to help with our Saturday's class. You will have the opportunity to teach one of these subjects each week. The Junior Chefs spend 1 1/2 hours cooking, and 30 minutes learning a lesson that helps tie in to that recipe.

You can choose to teach each Saturday for a month (4 sessions ), or pick one Saturday. We are flexible and will work with your schedule. Your volunteer time will be 4 hours each week you come. Time varies from 8am - 12pm, or from 12pm to 4pm. We can discuss your availability when you sign up.

We can provide the lesson or allow you to create one using the recipe for that month.

We know how important education is, what a great way to teach the basics to kids of all ages as they have fun cooking exciting recipes each week!
