This is an exciting time for Wild Bird Rescue & Rehabilitation! After a three-year hiatus, Wild Bird Rescue & Rehabilitation will be re-opening with a new facility, targeted for April 2017. Wild Bird Rescue & Rehabilitation will then embark on a capital campaign to build a brand new facility in Wheat Ridge, CO on property that is owned by the organization.
If you have ever wanted to be involved in wild animal rescue operations, and or serve on a board, this is your opportunity. Wild Bird Rescue & Rehabilitation offers board members the chance to impact the lives of native wild birds in Colorado. Our new facility is limited to song birds, humming birds and jays. In the future, at the new facility, we will be able to work with larger birds and waterfowl, with the exception of raptors.
As a board member you will be called upon to participate in the governance of the organization, participate on vital committees and occasionally work along side our licensed rehabilitation experts
