Pine Fest is a free family event that celebrates and promotes the conservation of the globally rare Atlantic Coastal Pine Barrens Ecoregion of Southeastern Massachusetts.
Visitors enjoy many of the experiences in nature that the Pine Barrens in the Myles Standish State Forest has to offer, including: pony rides, kayaking, outdoors cooking and archery. But this year we have no Archery Instructor!
Can you help?
The archery equipment will be supplied by Mass Fish and Wildlife Archery Program but requires a Certified Archery Instructor.
We will pay to train you.
All instructors must participate in MassWildlife’s Basic Archery Instructor Certification. DFW provides the 6-hour certification course for educators. The only charge is for the training packet and certification exam, which is $40 per instructor.
