We Connect The Dots' (WCTD) Discovery Day highlights the endless career possibilities offered through careers in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) and also showcases the programs we offer through out the year.
What will be expected of me as a volunteer?
As a volunteer, you would be expected to help and mentor students by being interactive and supportive during the program when the students need help by having the opportunity to learn how to inspire students to be life-long learners. Some of the examples you may be assigned to do is mentoring students, registration, giving tours of the facility, setting up and cleaning up before and after the program.
Do I need any special skills?
No, you do not need to have any special skills. Our program incorporates a variety of team building activities that support our goal to engage students to work collaboratively. The result is that by volunteering you will benefit from the experience and come away with valuable skills.
To learn more about the opportunity reach out to our team at firstname.lastname@example.org, to learn more about the program please visit our website at http://we-connect-the-dots.org/discoveryday2018/
