Do you want to help an amazing group of curious and fun loving kids to explore the world of the ever changing world of technology and the amazing developments being made every year? Then this is the perfect opportunity for you!
W L Henry STEAM Clubs are looking for volunteers to lead after school clubs in the areas of rocketry, robotics, computer programming, solar cars, or wind power. The clubs are hands on and exploratory, students will be working with technology, not reading about it. We are looking for someone with a passion for science and technology and an excitement about teaching kids.
The clubs start on April 21st and run for 6 weeks, from 2:20 to are for one hour, from 2:20 to 3:30 P.M. Volunteers also need to meet with the STEAM coordinator at least two times for less than an hour to prepare for leading the club.
Volunteers must complete a background check.
