Help furever families find their furry new family member at our weekly adoption events. Adoption events are held every Saturday at the Tractor Supply store in Castle Rock, CO. We need 1-2 volunteers for each event to help adopters complete the adoption process. You may volunteer one Saturday a month or more if you wish - we would love that!
Adoption Events are from 11am-3pm each Saturday. General event volunteers should plan to arrive at the event location between 10:30-10:45am, and stay until just after the conclusion of the event until 3:15 or so to help tear down the adoption application station.
You must have a fully charged cell phone with internet access/ability to process applications by calling references and checking property ownership with county records.
Duties: help set up for the event and get the adoption application organized; talk with adopters to make sure they have filled out and submitted their application for processing and once processed that they have received their approved application; facilitate the adoption process as needed; help tear down.
Oh! And all the puppy kisses you can handle!

Mission Statement
We are passionate about saving dogs. Douglas County Canine Rescue, DCCR, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, no kill, animal rescue. Our mission is to rescue abandoned animals, spay, neuter and provide medical care, and then put them with foster homes until they are adopted into the loving homes that they need and deserve!
Description
DCCR does not have a physical facility. We rely solely on the kindness and generosity of animal lovers who open their hearts and homes to help us take care of the animal orphans that desperately need help.
