Who: You are a resourceful professional who can build on already developed curriculum and help our YOUTHWORKS! participants understand the importance of professional behavior in the workplace.

What: As a Keeping the Job Instructor, you will:

  • Address topics like the importance of having a positive attitude, demonstrating honesty, and knowing how to give and provide feedback.
  • Facilitate activities and exercises about what trainees need to know and do to succeed in their jobs.
  • Help trainees practice guidelines to giving and providing feedback.
  • Have trainees practice scenarios for successful team work.

Why: Part of transitioning into young adulthood and the workforce requires effective communication, and professionalism. This workshop will help trainees understand and practice these skills.

When: June 29th from 2pm - 6pm.

How: In order to volunteer for this opportunity, you will:

  • Need to be at least 25 years old.
  • Submit an application to the Volunteer Coordinator
  • Submit to and pass a criminal background check
  • Complete an interview
  • Agree to and comply with all Idaho Youth Ranch Volunteer Policies and Procedures.
