The Palmer Park Tennis Academy (PPTA) is aimed at exposing Detroit urban youth to the sport of tennis, using USTA 10 and Under Tennis.
- Attention: College and High School tennis players
- Do you need volunteer hours?
- Do you like working with children ages 5-10?
- Contact Coach Lee King via email at leonorakng@aol.com right away to help out with the Palmer Park Tennis Academy, Detroit, Michigan - Classes begin June 13 and end the last week in August, 2017.

People for Palmer Park is an organization of individuals committed to preservation, recreation and revitalization for Palmer Park Detroit...for the good of all.
Description
PFPP was formed as a Michigan non-profit corporation in April 2011, and obtained its federal tax exemption, or charitable status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code in November 2011. The organization has an elected Board of Directors comprised of area residents, approved bylaws, monthly board meetings held since the spring of 2011, and annual public meetings since March 2011. From the inception of the Board, there have been City official representatives from either the Recreation Department or General Services Department serving on the Board of Directors.
