Join Metroparks in our reforestation effort at Fallen Timbers Battlefield Metropark. More than 7,000 bare-root trees are being planted this spring and we need help getting them ready for planting and ensuring they will thrive.
April 19, 20 and 21
Shifts: 9am-noon; 12:30-3:30pm; 4-7pm
Activity: Haul stakes, tree shelters and other supplies to planting site, distribute materials at each tree.
We are especially looking for people who are able to carry 25-50 lbs. Volunteers must be 14+

We are a county-wide park system in northwest Ohio consisting of 14 parks, covering over 12,000 acres of protected natural land and including 120 miles of trails. Metroparks of the Toledo Area promotes conservation and restoration, encourages active lifestyles, and nurtures lifelong learning and an appreciation for natural resources.
