Volunteers Plant Native Species

Become a National Park Crew Leader! Crew Leaders work alongside rangers leading group volunteer habitat restoration events. This is a great chance to work outside and share a love of nature and the river with others. It’s also perfect for Master Naturalist volunteer hours. Volunteers commit to work 5-6 weekday events within the May-October time period. Scheduling is very flexible.

New Crew Leaders must attend a training on Thursday, April 5 from 9am-4pm at Park Headquarters in downtown St. Paul (free parking provided). There will be both indoor and outdoor field training. Volunteers will learn about the natural world along the river as well as how to work with groups.

Contact Karen Katz at karen_katz@nps.gov or 651-293-8458 for more information.
