About

RunFurShelter is a Non Profit Organization that raises funds to provide food, shelter, and medical necessities for our faithful pets. We have partnered with The Salvation Army Golden Diners, which feeds approximately 1,000 senior citizens a day. through this program we found that many of these seniors had difficulty feeding their pets and were sharing their meals to feed them. Proceeds from the 2017 race will be used to purchase pet food for this very worthy cause.

We are looking for volunteers who would like to spend a fun Sunday morning helping to make our 7th Annual RunFurShelter 5K/10K Race another successful year.

They include handing out waters during the race to runners, directing cars to parking lots, guiding runners along the course, cheering on the runners along the course, set up and take down, food and water table, volunteer table, directing traffic, awards, & working with local rescues.
