Hello!
We are holding 6 robotics events at the San Diego County Fair! It happens on many days, you can register for 1 or many positions! No Experience needed for any of our events!
Dates: 6/3, 6/10, 6/11, 6/24

We do offer you a ticket to get in plus 2 additional tickets to come back to the fair whenever you want. Also, FREE t-shirts to all of our volunteers!

Mission Statement
SWRiSE believes that by giving more children opportunities to explore science, technology, and engineering through a fun and challenging avenue, that we are opening more doors for them as well as strengthening the future workforce.
Description
We are a 501(c)3 organization with its ultimate purpose being to provide avenues for students, teachers, and communities as a whole to incorporate science and especially robotics into their lives. We are particularly interested in providing opportunities to under-served and low-income communities where students have little opportunities to learn about robotics.
We organize robotics events throughout Southern California, sponsor a competitive Botball team, and hold Saturday workshops at our SWRiSE ClubHouse . Other programs we plan to build up include RiSE Ambassadors (student mentors), the ECR Alliance Project, RiSE E v e n t s (a Volunteer/Event Management System), and week-long children’s camps.
