PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Thank you for your interest in joining the American Red Cross 2017 Youth Corp Program. Every two seconds someone in the United States needs blood. Youth Corp members will partner with medical staff to provide donors and visitors with excellent customer service, ensuring donors have a positive experience each and every time they donate. Every blood donor you assist can help save up to three lives! The Donor Ambassador is important to the American Red Cross--Blood Services mission by helping to regulate work flow, ensure the safety of our donors following blood donation, and providing friendly, courteous and knowledgeable customer service to blood donors, employees, community partners and visitors.
OPEN TIME DAYS
Mandatory Training will be held on two Saturday's in May (dates TBD).⦆Successful completion of the program requires you to volunteer 40 hours between June 1 st to September 4 th, 2017
REQUIRED TRAININGMandatory 3 hour Summer Youth Corp Training - there will be two training options in May. Both on Saturdays. Dates and Times TBD.⦆
