The Dreamplex Farm to Table Dinner is a fun and casual evening featuring locally sourced and seasonally fresh foods prepared by local chefs. It benefits the Central Florida Dreamplex, a fitness, social and recreation center in Clermont which serves children and adults with disabilities.
Volunteers are needed to help with directing parking, dishing up servings for each plate, supervising children in our kid area, and other various tasks at the event. Groups are welcome, and anyone ages 15 & up. We are a non-profit organization, so community service hours can be earned through this event. Our approach is to partner with and bring together multiple organizations for a larger, common goal of serving families with special needs.
Description
The Central Florida Dreamplex is a fitness and recreational facility specifically for individuals and families with special needs and physical disabilities. We provide special-interest classes in tae kwon do, cheerleading, gymnastics/tumbling, ballet, hip-hop, and more! We offer after school programs, open gym nights, and other events throughout the year to bring together parents and families with special needs.
