Young people now live in a world dominated by technology and screen time. At APCH we discourage passive screen watching and instead teach youth how to create their own original stories on video. Our Digital Media Program includes classes that range from Basic Computer Skills to Movie Making, Digital Editing, Photography and more. We challenge and support our youth to participate fully in the 21st Century community via hands-on experiential learning with state of the art technology and creativity to express and share the human experience in meaningful ways.

Our members learn about computers, cameras and other digital devices, and develop basic skills, like typing, web research, and media literacy. Training is offered on the fundamentals of video production, film and photography; and opportunities are provided to work with experienced digital media professionals through special workshops and field trips. Members have the chance to write their own scripts, draw storyboards, and explore the magic of creating their own short films. All of our Digital Media classes are fun and cutting edge and our members emerge as skilled digital storytellers.

Fall 2018 Classes: Basic Filmmaking, Science Fiction & Futurism, Photography, Basic Web Design, Basic Computer Skills, Documentary Film "And that's My truth!"

Digital Media classes are held Monday-Friday 1:30PM-3:30PM and 4:30PM-6:30PM.
