CitySquare - Denver is looking for volunteers to assist neighbors in our computer lab. Responsibilities include monitoring content, working 1:1 on setting up email accounts, navigating web pages, reviewing resumes and answering general questions or concerns for our neighbors. IT skills also encouraged and welcomed for maintenance and troubleshooting. Assistance is needed on Mon & Thur 10am-2pm. Hours are flexible with 2 or 4 hour shifts.

Description
Since 1988, CitySquare has addressed the causes and effects of poverty by working together with the people we serve, known to us as neighbors. CitySquare fights poverty through service, advocacy and friendship, with 14 unique programs that address hunger, health, housing, and hope-benefitting at-risk youth, working poor families, and the homeless. According to Charity Navigator (http://www.charitynavigator.org), 88.6% of our total expenses are spent on the programs and services we deliver. Originally started as the Central Dallas Food Pantry, CitySquare has grown to be one of the largest, most effective social services organizations in Texas, serving more than 50,000 unduplicated neighbors each year and branching out to serve the urban poor across Texas, and now in Denver.
We operate out of our Denver Community Center at 2575 S. Broadway and will be reopening our doors in April. Stay tuned for program information and opportunities.
