Job Description: To serve on the Social Media Committee who owns and implements the social media strategy and plan for Doing Good. This committee is led by the Social Media Director for Doing Good who is a Board Member.

Time Involved: Participation in the 45-minute monthly conference call committee meeting plus the time spent implementing throughout the month.


  • Work as a team to keep the Doing Good brand consistent throughout all social media platforms
  • Write posts for Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, (and Google Plus, though it will not be kept up)
  • Increase the audience on each social media platform
  • Take each platform "to the next level" re: its visual attraction, ability to be user-friendly
  • Update and maintain photos and descriptions on Instagram
  • Update and maintain videos and descriptions on YouTube
  • Update LinkedIn Company Page
  • Update the Doing Good website with Nashville’s Volunteer of the Month (NVOTM) information
  • Update the blog on WordPress with NVOTM on the 1 st of each month
  • Partner with the Marketing Committee’s Graphic Designer(s) when appropriate
