Do you love the outdoors, camping and activities at Punderson State Park? The Friends of Punderson are always looking for more volunteers and members to join our group. Some of the opportunities we offer as follows:

• Membership - become a member & help create & plan events
• General volunteer - help with set-up and event activities and take down
• Kids' Activities in the Campground during events - Crafts, games, etc.
• Trail Clean-Ups, Light Maintenance & Labor to improve the park grounds
• Improving garden areas / vegetable garden by manor
• and other volunteer activities permitted by the park!

Without volunteers we cannot host large events, we are currently a very small group who have limited volunteer availability. Here are some of the event ides that we cannot accomplish wihout more help:

• Car shows
• Themed Camp Outs (like the Halloween Camp Out)
• Other Fundraising events

This group was originally started by and maintained by volunteers who were either extremely dedicated to the park or were retired and had time to participate as well as enjoyed camping and hosting campground activities. We are looking for more dedicated individuals for membership as well as volunteers! Please contact us if you are interested.
