Alzheimer’s Greater Los Angeles is looking for 10 enthusiastic, football minded volunteers to be a part of TackleALZ.
TackleALZ is our annual all-female flag football game, which raises awareness and funds in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. Funds raised support local programs and services for, along with critically needed research.
This exciting volunteer opportunity begins mid-March, when we recruit the teams, and runs through the end of June. Participating players have varying degrees of experience, but with the help of our volunteer coaches, who will lead the teams by creating plays, encouraging competition, and developing a fun and supportive experience for all.
Training begins this April, consisting of 1 to 2 practices per week, culminating with the game, which takes place June 17, 2017 at McAlister Field on the USC campus. To learn more, please visit http://www.alzgla.org/events/tacklealz/
