We are a brand new non profit and we need a go getter with great communication (phone and email) skills.
Using our ideas and leads, and with a firm knowledge of our needs and goals, you will cold call, and email - fill in internet submissions and advocate to raise funds for our animal center.
Event coordination experience is a plus however we will guide you on what we need and want to acheive with both small and large community events.
Start ASAP and choose your own hours, some remote (work from home) work will be available once you are set up.
Ideally would love a commitment of 20 hours per week, but will work with anything from 4 to 40.
This is an UNPAID (volunteer) position right now, but WILL expand into a paid position in the future.

About Friends of the Wild
Location:
727 E Fremont street, Las Vegas, NV 89101, US
Mission Statement
To provide interactive and educational animal experiences
Description
After the closure of the Las Vegas Zoo in 2013, and Roos N More Zoo in 2016 a small group of caring individuals in the downtown community decided it was time to try something new: A successful, non-profit, animal center dedicated to providing quality habitats and enrichment to a small group of interactive and educational animals.
What began as a dream began to make sense as plans were laid and donations began rolling in, in February 2017.
With our doors set to open in early April, we are currently in the planning and creating stage, sourcing reputable breeders and great animals that will meet the needs of our facility and of our environment. Animals first is one of our core values.
Friends of the Wild is proud to offer small group tours 4 days a week, on and off site, affordable 'Field Trips' for schools and groups. As well as a variety of fun events
