The Chapman Partnership houses homeless families with children, who are actively seeking employment, for up to 90 days. Children (of all ages) in the facility attend public school during their stay and participate in after-school activities in the Chapman Partnership resource center.

This program welcomes teens and adults to find a moment of peace and reorient themselves while learning practical de-stressing techniques. Volunteers can help the residences, engage in the class, and spend time with the children of the families taking the class.

Mindful Hour runs from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Chapman Partnership on scheduled Wednesdays and from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Miami Bridge on scheduled Thursdays.

Mission Statement

The Little Lighthouse Foundation assists children and their families in South Florida who face educational, financial, and medical hardships. This support is derived from recruiting and educating passionate, caring, socially conscious South Floridians, and then deploying them to beneficiary charities. In addition, the Little Lighthouse Foundation raises monies to provide direct support both directly to children and their families and to address specific needs of local charities benefitting children. Through a new paradigm of fundraising and awareness, the Little Lighthouse Foundation financially supports numerous partner organizations throughout South Florida and dispatches hundreds of volunteers who donate their time and hearts.

Description
