The Women's Daytime Drop-In Center is in need of someone to help cook a healthy and sustaining lunch or breakfast on Mondays,Tuesdays, and Friday from 9am-10am. We are looking for a 2-3 hour weekly commitment to cook and serve breakfast or lunch

The Center offers a hot breakfast/lunch to approximately 30 women and children Monday through Friday in our small home in Berkeley. Much of our food comes from donations from the Berkeley community including Chez Panisse and local farmer's markets.

Many of our lunchtime cooks find the experience of working in our kitchen a very rejuvenating experience as our atmosphere is intimate and supportive. The kitchen is an extremely fun place to be as that is where the magic happens...

If you are a member of the community interested in making a direct positive impact on the lives of homeless women and children, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.
