Compassionate individuals are needed to provide patient companionship, social interaction, hand holding, or just to sit and chat with patients in assisted living communities, personal care homes, or private residences.
Some of our patients have no or little family contact. As they face end of life care your powerful role is to provide: 1. a friendly smile; 2. a phone call; 3. a conversation about....anything; 4. an opportunity for the patient to have something to look forward to.
We require no time commitment from our volunteers.

Homestead Hospice is dedicated to our patients and their families. When someone you love is diagnosed with a life limiting illness, everything changes. We are here to guide you through this difficult journey so that you can spend quality time with your loved one.
Hospice care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance. However, care is provided regardless of ability to pay.
