Anaheim Independencia Family Resource Center/CAPOC is a host site for a VITA Program (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program) run by United Way. This program offers free tax preparation for individuals who earned less than $60,000 within the tax year.

If you would like to gain a new skill and learn how to prepare taxes then this opportunity is perfect for you. After taking an online exam you would become officially CERTIFIED to prepare taxes. This looks amazing on a resume!

No experience is needed, there will be trainings provided for you. All you need to do is come ready to learn!

We provide food to the hungry, afterschool programs, family services, conduct community development activities, afterschool programs, mentoring, provide refurbish computers to low-income kids, distribute food and clothing to help families transition off welfare; etc.
