Read Write Discover is a program that matches high school students with students in grades k-8 in an effort to help improve their literacy skills. This program targets students who are struggling in reading and writing and helps families take charge of their children's education. Taking place during the summertime, this program provides services at a time when free, school-based programs are limited and some families cannot afford fee-based supplemental educational programs. Founded in 2006, this program is located in community libraries and has grown to serve hundreds of youth every year.

If you are a high school student interested in summer volunteer work, you can get community service credits for your work with students. We will be having this program twice a week and each session is an hour and a half. You will have support and training and meet lots of friends. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
