Meals on Wheels People is partnering with Whole Foods Markets in the Portland-area!
We're looking for volunteers March 13-17 to assist with the promotion of Meals on Wheels People (MOWP) and encourage customers to donate their resuable bag refund to MOWP.
7 store locations available:
- Bridgeport
- Fremont
- Greenway
- Hollywood
- Laurelhurst
- Pearl District
- Tanasbourne
2 shifts available at each store daily:
- 11AM-2PM
- 4-6PM

The vision of Meals on Wheels People is that no senior will go hungry or experience social isolation. We enrich the lives of seniors and assist them in maintaining their independence by making nutritious food, social contacts and other resources easily available. Our organization is community based, emphasizes volunteer involvement and is financially sound.
Description
Meals on Wheels People is a nonprofit, secular organization that has provided seniors with hot meals and opportunities for health, hope and friendship since 1970. Each year more than 7,500 volunteers prepare and deliver 1.3 million meals to seniors in the Portland-Vancouver metro area. The loyal support of our volunteers combined with the generous financial contributions of our donors keeps the vision of Meals on Wheels Centers alive.
