Everyone's life tells a story. You can help capture that story for residents at Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community in Chenoa by volunteering to interview residents. Interview questions and training will be provided. The time committment to complete one persons history profile is three to four one-hour meetings. Many of those being interviewed are between the ages of 80 to 103. There is a special booklet for interviewing veterans.

Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community seeks to minister
to the elderly in the belief that God desires older persons to
enjoy dignity, respect, love and care.
Description
- Help provide the residents with that "Something
extra" and be somebody who cares about them and
their personal needs. - Help each resident retain personal dignity and
maintain confidence in himself / herself. - Gve the resident a feeling of a caring community
of people dedicated to his/her well-being. - Provide the means for the volunteer to feel a
sense of satisfaction in serving others. - Provide that extra pair of hands for the paid staff.
