- As a volunteer, you may be asked to assist with the care of a child while at our center. Dress comfortably but appropriately, keeping in mind that while you are here you may also be interacting with professionals from law enforcement, child protective services, and the district attorney’s office.
- Team work is an important component to the CAC model. Volunteers must be able to work effectively and cohesively with staff, board members, other volunteers, and interagency partners.

The mission of The Martin House Children’s Advocacy Center is to ensure that every child who is suffering from abuse and comes to our center has an opportunity to be heard, feel protected, and receive services that are vital to his or her continued safety and future well being.
Description
The Martin House Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) is a child-focused non-profit organization dedicated to helping children under 18 years of age who are suspected victims of sexual or physical abuse or witnesses to violent crimes. The center is the result of a community-wide effort to combat and treat child maltreatment in Gregg, Harrison, and Marion Counties.
