We are Homestead Hospice and we help take care of wonderful people during the final, difficult months of their lives. We are looking for volunteers in the Phoenix/Peoria/Glendale area to visit and watch TV together, play cards or just share stories and have a conversation. They simply love the company and you might even learn a few things from their experiences.
Of course if you can play an instrument or sing, tell jokes, or even juggle (hey, who doesn't love great juggling!)-bring it on! But they really just want a little of your time. We only ask for an hour per week or whatever you can spare- weekends are okay. C'mon and make a friend . . . and make a difference!
