Heritage Museum of Orange County is a cultural and natural history center dedicated to preserving, promoting, and restoring the heritage of Orange County and the surrounding region through quality hands-on educational programs for students and visitors of all ages.Natural Area Restoration at HMOC The Heritage Museum of Orange County is home to 2.5 acres of Federally Protected Wetlands in Santa Ana. We need volunteers to help us restore it by pulling weeds from hiking trails and planting native plants. We work with Jim Meyer from Trails 4 All every 1st Saturday of the month from 9am-12pm. Come by and help us restore a bit of history. This opportunity is good for groups. The minimum age requirement to participate is 10 with parent/guardian present. High school aged students under the age of 18 may volunteer without an adult present with a signed liability waiver. Please contact Dani Stephan, Director of Volunteer Programs, if interested.
