Heritage Museum of Orange County is a cultural and natural history center dedicated to preserving, promoting, and restoring the heritage of Orange County and the surrounding region through quality hands-on educational programs for students and visitors of all ages.
Natural Area Restoration at HMOC
The Heritage Museum of Orange County is home to 2.5 acres of Federally Protected Wetlands in Santa Ana. We need volunteers to help us restore and maintain the roads and trails in our Natural Area. We work with Jim Meyer from Trails-4-All every 1st Saturday of the month from 9am-12pm. Come by and help us restore a bit of history!
How To Volunteer
This opportunity is good for families, groups, and individuals! The minimum age requirement to participate is 8 years old with parent/guardian present. Students between the ages of 13-18 may volunteer without an adult present with a signed liability waiver. All volunteers must submit a release from liability form in order to participate!
THERE IS LIMITED AVAILABILITY FOR THIS EVENT
Please contact Daniel Cooper, Director of Volunteer Programs, if interested.
