The hospital Emergency Response Team (ERT) is a multidisciplinary organization consisting of hospital employees specially trained to handle various hospital emergency situations. These include:
* Patients contaminated with chemicals, radiation, or biological agents
* Mass Casualty Incidents (MCI)
* Hospital Evacuation
* Medical Surge
* Alternate care sites
* Communication Failures
* On-Site medical incident support
