Lehi Senior Center Tai Chi
Tai Chi class is our most popular program - we have an average of 25 seniors attend weekly! We hope to find volunteers to help keep this class going!

Help enrich the lives of the senior community by leading the seniors in Tai Chi Class - a low-impact, relaxing, meditative form of exercise. Certifications required - you must have a Tai Chi or Qigong certification (ATCQA, TCF, or other). Instructors should recognize this class will be taught to senior citizens (ages 60+) of various abilities and fitness levels. Class should be taught accordingly.

Class will be held at least once per week on a consistent day, for one hour or more. We can be flexible on the date and time to fit the schedule of the volunteer. Class will be taught in the Lehi Senior Center.

Tai Chi currently is held on Tuesdays from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m., and Thursdays from 12:30-1:30pm, and is one of our most popular programs. We have an average of 25 seniors attending the class weekly, but the class is much more popular when we have live instruction. Volunteers will receive a free lunch every day they teach.

Please contact Jessie Jones for more information, or to volunteer for this position, by calling 385-201-2349, or emailing jjones@lehi-ut.gov.
