Tai Chi class is our most popular program - we have an average of 25 seniors attend weekly! We hope to find volunteers to help keep this class going!

Help enrich the lives of the senior community by leading the seniors in Tai Chi Class - a low-impact, relaxing, meditative form of exercise. No official certifications required.

Class will be held at least once per week on a consistent day, for one hour or more. We can be flexible on the date and time to fit the schedule of the volunteer. Class will be taught in the Lehi Senior Center.

Tai Chi currently is held on Thursdays from 12:30-1:30pm, and is one of our most popular programs. We have an average of 25 seniors attending the class weekly! We will be losing our current teacher in April, and are seeking new volunteer(s) to take his place starting the first week of April. Volunteers will receive a free lunch every day they teach.

Tai Chi can easily be learned by watching YouTube, purchasing Tai Chi videos, and reading information online. The Senior Center will reimburse volunteers for any fees they encounter during training (e.g. purchasing tai chi video).

Please contact Jessie Jones for more information, or to volunteer for this position, by calling 385-201-2349.
