The Meals on Wheels Foundation of Northern Illinois is looking for volunteers to deliver meals to homebound seniors. We serve lunch every Monday-Friday, so our volunteers are needed in the morning and afternoon (typical delivery shift 10am-11:30am). Some of our volunteers stay all day, some stay for a few hours. We can accommodate your busy schedule! Contact us to learn more about this flexible and meaningful opportunity. (Drivers are reimbursed at 55 cents per mile for gas).
We are also interested in those willing to work early mornings to help in the kitchen as we pack up the meals for our drivers.
